MAINTAINS SCHOOLS
The Replacement Levy for Technology, Safety and Facility Improvements keeps our schools and support facilities safe and functional. It funds essential maintenance like replacing aging roofs and siding, and upgrading heating and ventilation systems. When the 2020 bond failed, many critical projects - roofing, HVAC, and other necessary repairs - were put on hold. Delaying these upgrades only increases costs over time. Just like homes and businesses, schools must be maintained routinely and on schedule to remain safe, efficient, and cost-effective. It also funds upgrades to elementary playgrounds and the purchase of portable classrooms to support increasing enrollment.
IMPROVES SAFETY
In today’s world, ensuring the safety of our students, staff, and visitors is more important than ever. Our high schools have levy-funded school resource officers. The Replacement Levy for Technology, Safety and Facility Improvements provides the funds necessary for upgraded security cameras, viewing platforms and improved lighting, as well as more efficient, safer school parking lots and drop-off/pick-up areas.
